1. Carabiners

Carabiners were so helpful to me during my backpacking trip in Mexico and Guatemala. I attached them to my backpack and was able to bring more stuff thanks to it! For example, I often attached my walking shoes or my bikini if it wasn’t dry by the time I had to pack up.

2. MakeUp Eraser Towel

I have used these for YEARS and I will literally never go back to “normal” liquid makeup remover. I first got them as a gift from my host mom during my exchange year in Michigan, and it changed everything. You just soak it in warm water and use it on your face and your makeup comes off! It’s perfect to bring on your travels as it doesn’t take up any space, and can be used so many times.

9. Memory Foam Neck Pillow

I will always recommend this neck pillow for traveling! Why is it surprising, you might wonder. Well, the memory foam is removable as there is a zipper on the back of the pillow, and this is my secret travel hack: take it out and put socks and underwear in it. Putting stuff in it is a lifesaver for when you’re lacking space in your luggage, and still makes the neck pillow comfy!

10. Hanging toiletry bag

This might not seem like the most surprising travel item – however, the jewelry organizer compartment is the cherry on top! A must-have when traveling.
